The District has partnered in the past with LiveWell Wheat Ridge and the City of Wheat Ridge to improve access to locally-grown foods in Jefferson County. JCD supports farmers’ markets and promotes healthy living and the benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables within the District. JCD also provides educational material on starting and maintaining your own garden.
This video is an introduction to the multi-partner effort to support urban gardening in Wheat Ridge and to improve access to Wheat Ridge farmers’ markets.
