To set up an appointment,
please call the District office at
The District offers technical assistance at no cost to private landowners in Jefferson, Gilpin, and Clear Creek counties. Our Agricultural Coordinator and Conservation Foresters are available to discuss your natural resource concerns, and would be happy to visit to your property to answer any questions you may have and make management recommendations.
Should you decide to carry out a forestry or weed management project within District boundaries, our expert Staff can be hired to manage your projects from beginning to end. This includes writing management plans, hiring contractors, and locating funding sources when applicable.
Education and Outreach
JCD attends and hosts a number of local events to educate the community about natural resource conservation in the Front Range. We also offer a variety of workshops, tours, and presentations each year to educate the public and provide technical training to citizens and landowners.
For a list of our upcoming workshops, please visit our Workshops page.
